Emilie Neumeister

Born in Dresden in 1999, Emilie Neumeister gained her first stage experience in the children's choir at the Dresden State Operetta, where she performed in the operetta ‘Jekyll & Hyde’, among other productions, in which she took on a solo role.


Emilie Neumeister had her first role in a television film in Tomy Wigand's comedy DER KOTZBROCKEN (2015). This was followed in the same year by the television film ANDERST SCHÖN, in which she played her first leading role alongside Charly Hübner and Christina Große.


Numerous other productions followed, such as the comedy FAMILIE MIT HINDERNISSEN (2016) and its sequel TRAUUNG MIT HINDERNISSEN (2018), WOLFSLAND (2016) and KOMMISSARIN LUCAS (2018). In 2018, she appeared in the international series COUNTERPART, directed by Justin Marks.


Emilie Neumeister regularly appears in well-known TV series such as the ZDF series DER KRIMINALIST and MARIE BRANDT. In December 2019, Netflix released the miniseries ZEIT DER GEHEIMNISSE (Time of Secrets) with Emilie Neumeister in a recurring role.


Emilie Neumeister had her first leading role in Florian Aigner's drama IM NIEMANDSLAND (No Man's Land) in 2018. The film was released nationwide on 7 November 2019 and won the main prize, the ‘Golden Beaver’, at the Biberach Film Festival.


In 2019, Emilie Neumeister appeared in the NDR relationship drama WO IST DIE LIEBE HIN. The film premiered at the Hamburg Film Festival in 2020 and was broadcast on television in 2021.


Emilie Neumeister had already appeared in German cinemas in May 2019 in the German-Czech co-production ORANGENTAGE by Ivan Pokorny.


In 2020, Emilie Neumeister appeared in the ZDF USEDOM KRIMI series in the episode NACHTSCHATTEN. This was followed in the same year by the ZDF production KOLLEGINNEN – DAS BÖSE KIND, which was broadcast in 2022.


Since 2021, Emilie Neumeister has been part of the ensemble cast of POLIZEIRUF ROSTOCK, playing the role of the daughter of Inspector Melly Böwe, played by Lina Beckmann.


Emilie Neumeister played a leading role in the six-part ZDFneo mystery series ANOTHER MONDAY, directed by Esther Bialas and Nathan Nill, in 2022. In May 2023, ZDFneo broadcast the series DIE MACHT DER KRÄNKUNG 2. The television film ENDE DER UNSCHULD, directed by Franziska Schlotterer for ARD, has also been completed.


In the 2022/2023 season, Emilie Neumeister appeared in the play CONCORD FLORAL at the Hans Otto Theatre in Potsdam. She also studied acting at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam from 2020 to 2023.


From April/May 2024, Emilie Neumeister appeared in a leading role in an episode of the ARD TV series ‘Tatort Dresden - Nachtschatten’ directed by Saralisa Volm. This was followed by ‘Zwei am Zug’ for ZDF, directed by Constanze Knoche, alongside Katharina Wackernagel and Rick Okon, as well as ‘Stille Mitte’ from the ZDF series Erzgebirgskrimi.


Two films from the successful series ‘Polizeiruf Rostock’ were shot in 2025, directed by Max Gleschinski: ‘Gespensterwald’ and ‘Schwarzer Sommer’. They are scheduled to be broadcast in 2026.


She is currently filming the popular SWR Tatort ‘Odenthal - IM NEBEL’, directed by Saralisa Volm.


Emilie Neumeister lives in Berlin.
